I named this blog after my grandparent's home - many happy days spent there. Didn't think I would still be blogging after a month but I still hang in - from time to time.

Water in the basement

Not too much, but the carpet is sodden. Another downpour, been happening all week. Flickering lights, rolling banging thunder, the roar of torrential rain. I'm tired.
